A film crew is a group of people hired by a production company for the purpose of producing a film or motion picture. Crew are distinguished from cast, the actors who appear in front of the camera or provide voices for characters in the film. Crew are also separate from producers, those who own a portion of either the film company or the film's intellectual property rights. A film crew is divided into different departments, each of which specializes in a specific aspect of the production.

What is this lens that a film's crew sometimes uses?
Q. What is this lens that sometimes the Director's look into? I think it's like they are trying to get a good shot and need a substitute instead of a camera at the time? Also, where could I find one of these to buy on the internet? Here is a photo of what I am talking about:

A. It's a director's viewfinder. It shows how the actual framing of the shot will look, and zooms to show the effect of various lenses.
